Mantario Trail Challenge
The Mantario Trail is Canada’s third most difficult trail totalling over a marathon and a half (65 kms) of adversity. Challengers are asked to hike through incredibly difficult terrain, bear-infested, woodtick-riddled, densely forested Canadian shield, partially in the dark, with no way out, all in less than 24 hours.
This is a fundraiser for kids and their futures. Challengers do this to raise money for CanU kids and a scholarship fund, the CanU Lead Awards, that has been set up for their dream of one day going to college or university.
CanU is an innovative and mutually beneficial mentoring, educational enrichment and leadership development after-school program for Manitoba youth and post-secondary students.
